My cat, Jitters from my Rogue Jitters breed and my dog, Mercury from my Rogue Terrier breed, are the best of friends.
I don't typically play with my petz, but now I don't plan to ever play with any others rofl. These two are just... perfect.
I just love them so much...

I love these pure friendships so much! I also have a pair of (non-SB dogs) that are besties, no signs of wanting to breed ever, and it's just crazy that their personalities aren't reduced to this algorithm of "same species, opposite sex? If yes then breed!" You can have friendships, enemies, petz that are neutral about each other... it's crazy!
That rambling aside, these two are especially precious. It's like Mercury is Jitters' emotional support or something, knowing how high-strung Oshies normally are, yet so calm here! Look at them play, how adorable!

I think one of the reasons I love this pair so much is that Jitters is a high strung Oshie, just as much as a purebred one (other strains of my related selective breed are slightly less skittish), but she is so calm with Mercury! She doesn't run scared nearly as much when they're together. If ever, now. At first, she still would do that little jittery run away, but I don't remember her doing that since the two really bonded. It's so neat!
They've never fought for real, only play-fights. They both tackle each other, get a little irritated, but are just having fun. They also howl at each other. They sit facing each other and take turns howling lol. It's so cute.
I love these two so much. ❤

I've noticed that my Highlights are mostly chill despite everything saying they're Oshies, so it's interesting that that seems to vary depending on the lines They'll shiver a bit now and then, but my both of my breeding pairs were able to even hang around the Jack O' Lantern without seeming to freak out anymore than any other pet.
I love that they sing with each other so much! Not even howling for your attention, just serenading each other! Honestly, when I get petz like this, I always bring them out together because it feels wrong to separate them!

I forgot to mention one of my absolute favorite traits of Jitters!
She's a super skittish Oshie, right? BUT she also has Sleepy Sickness so the instant you pick her up, she falls asleep!
I just love the idea of this anxiety cat, freaking out at everything, but as soon as you hold her, she's just OUT. Fast asleep. I love it.
Just for the record, none of my other Rogue Jitters have sleepy sickness. She's from an early draft strain of the breed, before that got bred out. So don't worry if you get any Rogue Jitters from my adoptions or anything. Unless people specifically request litters from Jitters, they should be safe from sleepy sickness.

Oh my goodness, that's hilarious! Makes me think of those fainting goats! She's so freaked out by the world around her anyway, when this mysterious floating hand picks her up, it's just... finally too much. Poor girl! Though uh, given the rest of her personality, I think a rest is well deserved! This is also a good reminder to watch for sleepy sickness in my own lines, because I always forget it's a thing and what breeds might pass it down! That would be awful in breedz that are hard to pose anyway lol.

I'm pretty sure a lot of my first attempts at selective breeding were rife with sleepy sickness lol. Sadly those where lost in the Great Harddrive Crash of '09" so I'll never know for sure rofl.
Funny thing is, all my other Rogue Jitters are directly descended from Jitters herself, but somehow the sleepy sickness got bred out without me even trying. So that's neat. Less work for me rofl. She probably got it from the chinchilla persian I used to shrink the size.
I USUALLY remember to check the petz I adopt from the AC for Sleepy Sickness and the Trotter trait for dogs (because trotters are the bane of my existence lol), but I was SO excited to make these cute folded eared Oshies, I forgot. No complaints, though, because I love that aspect of her and it didn't pass down to my 'official' Rogue Jitters line. I just kept Jitters because she was way too cute and adorable not to make a personal pet.
